We made animation sequences for the documentary "Silent Wildernis" by Mathijs Vleugels
The animations consists of a series of rich charcoal pencil drawings in order to visualize fragments of Tim's diaries and his state of mind. The idea comes original from the police man making drawings of the face of Tim. Using a process of gumming and drawing we wanted to create a pure and simple layer that fitted with Tim's mental universe. In the film the animation works like a palimpsest as they build, layer upon ghraphic layer.
